Since 1999 I have been observing the remarkable journey of Margaret De Wys,
from her life as an acclaimed composer and professor of music at Bard College
through her extraordinary experience of healing and training with the Ecuadorian
shamanic healer and Shuar master, Carlos ( as reported in her book, Black Smoke.
. . A "holy voyage" into wisdom and power). It is my great pleasure to announce
that Margaret is coming to Buddha-Buddha to share her knowledge and to lead us
into transformative ecstatic states.
We will be experiencing— among
other things: a Mayan cleansing ceremony, initiation into the mysteries of
ecstatic states, shaking medicine, ecstatic body postures, and deep dream
process— Margaret will also perform initiation rites with each person
individually.

Workshop details:
Schedule: Friday evening 7 pm to Sunday
afternoon, 6 pm. Specific dates TBD - stay tuned or call AA for more
information. Dates will be posted as soon as they are available.
Place: Buddha-Buddha, Hau'ula HI, island of
O'ahu, a former Tibetan
Buddist Retreat Center
Fee: $485 includes
workshop fee, healthy snacks, and meals. There is a
residential fee of $100
for two nights, available to all off-island participants
and for O'ahu
residents, space permitting. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to
reserve your place. Space in this workshop is
limited, so please register early to guarantee your place.
Cancellation
terms: Deposit is non-refundable, 80% of balance of payment is refundable until
April 1st. Entire balance can be transferred to another
person up to date of
workshop.
